Draft tex by PRK

Please feel free to add to or change the text below.

The WASFF Web Subcommittee met several times throughout the year, initially chaired by Chris Creagh who mid year, due to increased work load, had to hand over to PRK.

The initial scope of revamping the WASFF website has been expanded to encompass two separate, but linked sites.

The first is a "corporate" site, to display the professional face of WASFF as an organisation.

Functional and content requirements for the corporate site have been developed and approved by the Board with a staged rollout in progress. A "first draft" of the corporate site is currently being reviewed by the Subcommittee and Board. It is anticipated that the corporate sit will go live later this year.

The second site is a "community" site which will be a portal-style resource for SF information of local interest, including WA, Australian and some international material.

An initial version of the community site is online with with development still ongoing. It can be viewed at http://wiki.sf.org.au/ and is now open to the community for contributions.
