GenghisCon is aimed at a 20-something and 30-something demographic, although other ages are well represented. It is low cost, usually $25 for Friday to Sunday. It is activity-oriented, and has a workshop stream, usually including items like making foam weapons, making stuffed toys, etc. It has a strong outdoors stream, usually including cardboard fort making, hitting each other with foam swords, laser tag or Nerf wars, etc. There is also a panel stream, a colouring-in competition, board gaming, etc.
