Anna Hepworth suggested that panels might run more smoothly and closer to schedule if the con programmer promulgated a programmer's screed to panelists. Here is a sample.

Programmer's Screed

Please note that panels are scheduled to begin on the hour and end at 10 minutes before the hour; i.e. they are 50 minutes long. It is hoped that any A/V setup etc. can be achieved during the 10 minute changeover.

You may wish to confer with your fellow panelists and appoint a moderator.

Distribution

This screed might be distributed via email to panelists before the convention. A printed copy or two might be left on the panelists' tables at the front of each convention room.
