==History==

The deal was that fans would paint one room, and that would cover the venue cost. but fans being fans, twelve different groups went to 12 different rooms, and painted them all in different styles.

Many people were accommodated in a bus. Some slept in dormitories.

May have have had Jules Verne as an in-memoriam guest.

There was a live-action Space invaders game in the yard, with fans as aliens and other fans throwing frisbees at them.

There was a live action D&D game with Dave Luckett as dungeon master, using the whole venue including cellars. The game also included the outdoor staircase on the side of the building. The building was on the cliff face, and there was a balcony room halfway down the staircase (in which some people slept), and a room built into the cliff, all of which were used in the game.

The masquerade theme was "medieval". The masquerade was won by two female fans dressed as wings of a raven, one white, one black.
