Question Is there a protocol for querying eligibility of nominations? I'm not convinced that simply putting a strikethrough with a comment suggesting a move or modification is the best way, and would rather editors make the requisite move or look at modifying the nomination to make it eligible. Best New Talent As these are the 2010 Ditmars, would it be that a nomination or award in 2007 or before would make the nominee ineligible? Punkrocker1991 14:34, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

The relevant rule states, "The Best New Talent award recognises excellence of achievement in any field of the genre by an individual who has not been nominated for a recognised award three or more years before the year the award is held." These awards are being held in 2011. So, a nomination in 2008 or before would make an individual ineligible. --Thomas Bull 09:37, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
