WORKS ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION

An incomplete list of works which may be eligible for nomination for the 2020 Tin Duck Awards can be viewed at https://wiki.sf.org.au/2020_Ditmar_eligibility_list for the areas of Best Novel, Best Novella or Novelette, Best Short Story, Best Artwork, Best Fan Writer, Best Fan Artist, Best Fan Publication in any Medium, and Best New Talent; and at https://wiki.sf.org.au/2020_non-Ditmar_eligibility_list for everything else.


The Tin Duck Awards are the Western Australian science fiction achievement awards. They are given out annually at Swancon and voted on by members of the convention.

They were first presented in 1980 at Swancon 5.

A nomination form for the 2020 Tin Duck Awards is available here [1]. Works published by Western Australian residents, between the 1st of January 2018 and 31st December 2018 are eligible for nomination. The nomination period will close at 23:59 on Saturday the 25th of January 2020. You may also send nominations (or advise of eligible works) to awards@swancon.com.au.
